Bulk edit transactions

Learn how to edit multiple transactions from a web browser or the Next mobile app.

Next User Type: Member (Cardholder)

As a member (cardholder), you can edit multiple transactions at the same time in J.P. Morgan Next. You can edit any fields that are in all of the transactions you have selected, attach receipts, and add notes to multiple transactions at once.

Notes:

  • You can only edit custom fields if they are included in all selected transactions.

  • You cannot edit transactions that are synced, locked, or have been reviewed.


Bulk edit transaction from the mobile app

  1. In the Navigation Bar, tap Transactions

    • If the Transactions icon is not in your Navigation Bar, tap More, then tap Transactions

  2. Tap and hold the first transaction you want to edit

  3. Tap the checkboxes for any additional transactions you want to edit

  4. Tap Edit transactions

  5. View information about the dollar amount, merchants, spenders, and dates of the transactions you selected

  6. To add a receipt to all selected transactions, tap Add receipt

  7. Add or edit notes and/or make selections for any custom fields you want to edit

  8. To save your edits, tap Save


Bulk edit transactions from a web browser

  1. In the Navigation Menu, select Transactions

  2. Select the checkboxes for all the transactions you want to edit

  3. Select Bulk actions

  4. Select Bulk edit

  5. From the Edit transactions page, you can view the amount of transactions selected, as well as the amount of merchants and spenders related to those transactions

  6. To view additional transaction details, select Show more

  7. In the Edit fields section, make selections for any custom fields you want to edit

    • Note: You can edit any fields or notes that are included in every transaction you have selected.

  8. To attach a receipt to all selected transactions, drag and drop the receipt file into the receipt section or select the Add icon to select the file

  9. To save your edits, select Save
