Link spender bank account

Learn how to link a bank account to your Next user account to receive reimbursements.

Next User Type: Member

If your account administrator has enabled ACH reimbursements, you can submit reimbursement requests from your web browser or the mobile app. In order to receive funds from these requests, you need to have a bank account linked to your J.P. Morgan Next account. Follow the steps below to learn how to link a bank account in a web browser or the Next mobile app.

Note, ACH reimbursements are not available for PaymentNet customers.


Link bank account from the mobile app

  1. In the Navigation Bar, tap More

  2. Tap your username

  3. Find the Bank account section

  4. Tap Link bank account

  5. Select if your account is a checking account or savings account

  6. Tap Next

  7. Enter your bank's routing number

  8. Tap Next

  9. Enter and confirm your account number

  10. Tap Link


Link bank account from a web browser

  1. In the Navigation Menu, select the My account link, anchored at the bottom

  2. Select the Settings tab

  3. Select Link bank account

  4. In the Account type drop-down menu, select if your account is a checking or savings account

  5. Enter your routing number in the Routing number field

  6. Enter your account number in the Account number field and Confirm account number field

  7. If your account is based in the United States, leave the My account is not based in the United States checkbox unchecked

    • Note: Next only supports bank accounts based in the United States.

  8. To link your bank account to Next select Link bank account

  9. Your added bank account displays in the Settings tab

    • To change your linked bank account, select Change

    • To remove the bank account, select Remove
