Next User Type: Admin
By using limits, J.P. Morgan Next allows you to control how money is spent within your company. There are three types of limits in Next: credit limit, budget limits, and user or card limits. Learn more about each type of limit in the sections below.
Credit limit
This is the amount of money you can borrow from Next. The entire amount owed is due at the end of each billing cycle. Your company’s credit line is set prior to configuring your Next account. Should you need a credit line increase, contact J.P. Morgan Next Servicing or get in touch with your J.P. MORGAN relationship manager.
Budget limits
This is the amount that can be spent from a budget within a specified time period. Budget limits are not correlated with your credit limit. For example, if your credit limit is $50,000, you can pick a budget limit of $200,000 but note that you cannot actually borrow $200,000 unless you increase your credit limit.
To avoid unnecessary declines, you may want to set a higher budget limit and use user or card limits to restrict spending.
User or card limits
A limit may be set on the individual user or card level within a budget. This is a limit you choose for each budget member or budget card within the budget.
