Every transaction made with a J.P. Status definitions

Pending

Transaction charges have not been processed by the merchant. Merchants have six days to pull the funds from your card. If they have not pulled the funds after six days, the transaction will drop. Once the charge is fully processed the status will update.

Incomplete

Transaction is missing required information, such as required fields, transaction category, or receipt attachment.

Spenders can complete the required fields from the transaction panel. Once the required fields have been updated and the transaction has been approved by members of the approval flow, the transaction will be marked as complete.

If the Allow approvers to approve incomplete transactions option is enabled, approvers can approve or deny transactions without completing required fields.

Upcoming approval

Transaction includes all required information, but needs approval from another user or users before it will require approval from you.

If the Allow admins to override approvals option is enabled, admins can skip over other approvals and approve or deny the transaction.

Needs your approval

Transaction includes all required information, but needs your approval. If the Allow people to approve their own transactions option is enabled, you can approve your own transactions if you are part of the approval flow.

Pending approval

Transaction includes all required information and has been approved by you, but needs approval from another user.

Approved

Transaction has been approved by all members of the approval flow.

Denied

Transaction has been denied by a budget owner or admin. They may have determined that it was not a valid business expense, it was added to the wrong budget, or it was categorized incorrectly.

Spenders can make the proper adjustments to the transaction and resubmit for approval.

Complete

All required information, such as custom fields and receipts, has been completed and the transaction has been approved, if necessary.

Reviewed

Transaction has been marked as reviewed in an account that does not have transaction approvals enabled.

Disputed

Transaction has been disputed by a spender for suspected fraudulent or delinquent activity. Once a transaction has been disputed and displays the Disputed label, the transaction cannot be disputed again.

Dispute lost

Transaction went through the dispute review process and was resolved in favor of the merchant. Any applied provisional credits have been reversed.

Dispute won
